    Machida or Mousasi?

    Who yall got?

I am going with Machida to win by decision. Hopefully, Mousasi will have trained properly for this fight and will still put on a good performance. Otherwise, we might see a snooze fest.

Never liked Mousasi and found him boring and overrated. Most by his nuthuggers who treat him like Machida yet his best win is a lucky up kick on Jacare.

    Machida knocks him out.

Yeah, there was a point where people were even calling him the next fedor, back when they started training together. He still has some good hands but he has kind of a "meh" attitude about everything and was definitely overrated as hell by the fans and most websites too. Didnt really fight anyone competitive and even managed to not knock out Keith Jardine in their lame fight.

I'll actually be surprised if this is an exciting fight til the finish. It's just nobody has been able to outpoint Machida except Jones who had a freakishly large reach advantage on everybody but Gus. His reach forced Machida to have to get over aggressive and get caught.

Look at Mousasi vs Jardine. Jardine is awkward as hell but isn't half as elusive as Machida and Mousasi was extra tentative against him which will play into Machida's style. Shogun out struck him because he was aggressive with his kicks and can take a hell of a shot.

Mousasi's chin is still untested so I'm extremely skeptical about him succeeding with the Shogun plan. I want to see these great boxing skills of Mousasi that his hardcore fans rant on and on about. I see this fight looking like Machida-Soko/Munoz with Mousasi just being extra careful playing into his style until Machida kicks him in the face.

I got 100billy on Machida. Who wants it?

People go on and on about he "dominated" Jardine. He "dominated" Babalu. I respect them both but both are notorious for being human highlight reel victims . If he beats Machida I'll give him his due no doubt unless its a bogus decision for him or if Machida gets a robbery win.

He just hasn't fought anybody even remotely close to Machida's level to deserve half the hype. Yeah he's extremely well rounded but who isn't these days, fighters earn their hype and merit by beating top competition. And the toughest people he fought like I said a lucky up kick KO on Jacare, and a got dominated against King Mo who was also exposed hard body on multiple occasions.

That's what I brought up the Jardine fight. Jardine was known for being knocked out left and right with an occasional upset win of his own but nothing more. And Mousasi fought him in a boring and way-closer-than-should-have-been fight.

I would pick a Mousasi who is at his best, but so many questions still remain. How is the cut to MW gonna go? He hasn't look as good as he did years ago in a long time either. The stars have to allign for him on this one, and it would be too risky to pick against Machida who seems to be fully ready.

                  Mousasi of course...
If Machida beats him , it'll easily be his best & most important victory to date...

Machida wins via southpaw advantage, Mousasi's jab is of no use here
