    TUF Finale. Nate FN Diaz!

Solid night of fights. Diaz straight murked Maynard! Sucks to see Maynard try be more exciting but getting KOd left and right. Edgar ruined his punch resistance. Now if he does continue he'll probably go back to heavy wrestling and top control. Diaz definitely did wonders training with Faber and team Alpha Male. He could really get back into contention. I think he could whip Thompsons ass in a rematch!

Julie is a monster! She murked Jessica. I thought itd be a slugfest but she took her down and destroyed her. Females look out! Its interesting the womans division isnt that deep so she will get tough fights right away unlike other TUF winners.

Chris is the man. I liked Grant and it was a good fight but Chris trains with Faber too so he was already nice.

Pennington still needs to work on her aggression. If Roxxy was more conditioned she would have won easily like the first round. I think a Duke rematch is in order.

They need to allow knees on the ground already. The Blanco fight in the prelims suffered. Its too much of a grey area especially in a heat of the moment fist fight where adrenaline gets the best of yiu.

I've never seen Maynard before, but christ he looked awful. I don't know if Diaz falling on him took the wind out of him or he thinks it's Rocky and you block with your head.

"murked derp derp murked derp" LOL

Anyway, Diaz looked pretty much like he always does, or maybe even a hair better. It's hard to tell because Maynard has fallen off a cliff. That quick KO he had a while back was the worst thing that happened to his career. After that he decided that he was a boxer and he never learned to do anything but wind up and wing hard shots over and over. I laughed at the way they pitched the second fight between them; it was a horrible slop fest that they cut to try to look like some kinda of war. Anyway, Diaz is dangerous against absolutely any 155 pounder. He may not be athletic enough to beat guys like Henderson or Thomson, but he'll be in any fight and his style will occasionally annihilate really solid guys like Ceronne. The post fight interview was hilarious though. Based on that and the pre-fight video they showed, my wife thought he was ******ed. She really did. When I was laughing at the post fight interview she scolded me for being mean.

I was so pissed when they stopped the Pena/Racozy fight with one second left. He'd probably have ended up in the same position again in the second, but she'd have had another shot at catching her in the stand up. Pena looks like the real deal, though in her blog Bazler says that she beats Pena 99/100. I'd like to see a rematch under normal circumstances.

The Duke/Morgan fight was weird. Morgan allegedly has some kind of real amateur striking background, but she looked totally unathletic and uncoordinated throughout. Her hips never moved with her shoulder once, and she just pawed with arm punches. I suspect she won every one of her fights just based on reach.

Holdsworth is so damned slick on the ground. Solid stand up too. He'll win a lot of fights.

Man I was pissed at the Racokzy stoppage too, but didn't feel too bad because I also like Pena. Don't these refs know how much time is left. They have to hear that 10 second warning no? Why don't they put lights up with a buzzer, like they do in boxing for situations like that, so if the round is almost over, let it end. The corner could still stop it in between rounds. Nice job by Julianna though. She closed the gap pretty quickly and kept Jessica on the ground. Jess either needs to learn some wrestling and jiu jitsu or some serious takedown defense and escapes or both. I still think she has potential though, I hope the UFC signs her, if not then at least Invicta.

I didnt think it was bad. She was pounding on her for a good 45 seconds relentlessly. Id say she has potential but shes old so her window is small enough as it is.

I want the ufc to sign Holms already!

That's what I Love bout the Diaz brothers, that they keep the fights on their feet and slug it out no bs hugging and rolling on the ground.

Diaz really put some power on those punches. Maynard just reacts horribly after getting hit hard and you could tell it was over as soon as Diaz tagged him. gotta think Edgar either wrecked Maynards chin, or exposed it at least cause he looks completely shot.

suppose on the bright side, Maynard didn't ko himself this time.

Holly Holm? Yeah another former boxer that looks good. She's knocked out all her opponents so far and has a fight Friday.

Maynard can't see shots coming anymore. All his KOs are from punches he didn't see coming. Watch the first Diaz fight and the first Edgar fight. He used to be prepared to get hit until it Edgar caught him. Now he seems unprepared to get hit whenever he's punching. Seems weird since he's at a real camp and must spar all the time and must know to expect to get countered. I guess it's a plus in his column that he doesn't seem gunshy at all. Lots of guys end up like that when their reflexes go and just end up getting feinted to death.
