This interview is funny for two reasons. One of which, this guy is so hyped on on his own camp he cant see the fact the GSP would totally tool Diaz and will blast out Shields. GSP is the closest you can get to being well rounded as you can get in mma right now.

i Know matt hughes submitted GSP along time ago, and he isnt that same fighter, but then id say Shields BJJ is better than Hughes too. Id never bet on Shields to win, but he does have a chance.

How can you pretend that a guy who's main weakness is TDD and wrestling (Diaz) and have him winning against PROBABLY the best MMA wrestler in MMA? I love Diaz, and if he spent a year or 2 focusing on that, he would at least be competitive, but def ain't beating GSP as is.

This is off topic, but I'd like to see Melendez in the UFC.

A few months ago, Strikeforce was talking about a Josh Thomson rubber match, which I wouldn't mind seeing, but it seems like Strikeforce is only putting that match together because of the lack of a solid Lightweight division.
