Fedor to UFC "When my career ends you will regret not signing me"

Hah, this interview makes me crack up on so many different levels! For one, I am no longer going to be fooled that Fedor doesnt understand english. He clearly does, and just found it odd that when he was speaking english he had to look over to his m1 guy to continue what to say. ya ya, he doesnt speak english that well but still. I think this is one of the only real times I have seen Fedor laugh during a interview. The bye at the end was pretty funny as well.

I think the ones that will lose the most out of all of this is us, the fans. It sucks as Fedor should be in the UFC killing fools...

apart from JDS and Cain the UFC offers nothing, Fedor is better off fighting the proven best who all reside in Strikeforce.

Fedor clearly knows a splattering of english but not enough.

hahaha Fedor, if you'd see him walking down the street with his family u'd think oh what a nice, quiet and humble guy.

But inside is a beast of a fighter, amazing.

In a perfect world, UFC signs Fedor and Ubereem, winner of that fight takes on winner of Cain/JDS.....

Not really. It all comes back to the contracts really. Overeem is not going to sell his sole to the UFC, as with Fedor. Aside from Lesnar, who was already his own brand, every fighter who signs to the UFC has to forfeit their rights to their personal domain, essentially. This may workout okay if name is Uriah Faber but not if you're Overeem or Fedor.

JDS and Velasquez are certainly quality fighters, but aside from them the UFC heavyweights are not impressive. The UFC has never had an impressive heavyweight division, either. This is why in the Pride days, all of the top heavyweights fought in Japan.

I said in a perfect world, one where Dana and his minions don't control a fighters life with the signing of a contract. Those 4 are the top dogs of the HW division, seems a good 4 man tournament would be awesome...
