People criticize Fedor for having bad striking and stand-up skills and technique, however if you look at this video you’ll notice that there’s some reasoning behind how Fedor punches. His stand-up basically came from his Sambo background which have been designed specifically to incorporate boxing, kicking, judo and wrestling (along with no or very minimal gloves - as per real life scenarios).

Most MMA ATHLETES have good striking, but Fedors is 1 hit power ko's not really good striking, i can do some shadow boxing and show some techniques i see in films and that would probobaly amaze you like the video. Good striking in MMA is Crocop in his prime, Anderson Silva and also CHIGANO

It dosnt look like it has the same sturdy ness and follow through of a jab, its also looks alot slower then a jab, appears to telegraph the punch with the shoulder movement, with the thumb pointed down your just asking to get your thumb broken, and with the arm twisted like that your asking to get your arm broken.

Fedor has good power. His overall technique, isn't all that good however.
