Chuck has got to be the most over rated "striker" ever. Henderson would beat him everywhere.

To go into a little more detail, I see Henderson standing with him and tagging him consistently and mixing in his wrestling. Henderson, if anyone, can definitely put Chuck on his back-- maybe be Dan wouldn't have kept him down, but Chuck would have to defend the takedown. With that said, Henderson sets up a right hand with a fake shot and puts down Liddell.

Interesting breakdown. I have to agree 100% that Liddell is overrated as a striker. People don't seem to realize that the majority, if not all of the fighters he's managed to knock out (with the exception of maybe Overeem) have been one dimensional grapplers and wrestlers.

Henderson could definitely survive with Liddell on the feet since he has a great chin. Knocking him out I'm not so sure about though as Henderson's punches are often loaded from the hip and occasionally from the knee.

I think Henderson using a combination of constant pressure, clinching and repeated takedowns (even if he can't do much with them) gets him the win by UD. I'd like to see him knock Liddell out, but as predictable as Henderson is standing up, I just can't see it.

I agree that his striking is overrated, but he is still a better striker than Hendo. He can throw combos from different angles and his punches are faster. Though Hendo definitley has more power.

I said this once in a thread last year and got wrecked for it. Liddell's career(whether intentionally or unintentionally) has been built on opponents that were tailor made for him. and even though Liddell is known for his striking, decent strikers are his achilles heal.

Only decent striker that he beat was a weight drained Overeem.

you guys r crazy and smoking some wild crack, Chuck would win by defense, Hendo wouldn't be able to take him down how can some guys be so narrow and ****** amazes me, this guy had takedown defense to match the best in the world and if he was taken down, he would get back up immediately. I think you fools are looking into this pride>ufc toooo much. Where this fight takes places i think is the main sticking point.

I don't know man. Chuck keeps his hands at his ******* (or belly), his chin in the air, his footwork is trash, and throws slow looping punches... I think Hendo can crack him.

I know people say he has an iron chin, but part of me now thinks that no one had ever clipped him. Overeem had him on ***** street before Chuck landed that over hand right

Hendo wouldn't take him down. Have you not seen Hendo fight before?
Probably don't even know who Henderson is
