    List of suspensions from last night....

    The full list of suspensions included:

    * Frank Mir: Suspended 30 days for precautionary reasons
    * Mark Bocek: Suspended 30 days for scalp laceration
    * Rory Markham: Suspended 30 days for facial laceration
    * Rousimar Palhares: Suspended 90 days for not releasing submission
    * Tomasz Drwal: Suspended indefinitely pending X-ray of left knee and ankle
    * Jared Hamman: Suspended indefinitely pending X-rays of right foot; also suspended minimum of 60 days due to lacerations on right foot
    * Matthew Riddle: Suspended indefinitely pending CT scan

    Babalu got kicked out of UFC for that **** and his was just a choke. WTF Dana...

        Yeah, the athletic commission suspends fighters who get KOed or cut in fights so they don't just jump back into the gym and not heal. They suspend boxers as well you just don't hear about it...

                  why would they suspend palhares for 3 months? hes not gonna fight in the next 3 months anyway, whats the point. is he not allowed to train during the 3 months? is there something that comes with the suspension where the fighter gets actually punished?

                    Yeah but the fact that Sobral held the choke and then clearly stated afterwards that he did it on purpose, that was reason enough to kick him out.

                    Plus blood chokes are a lot worse than joint locks. You can kill someone with an anaconda choke, can't really say the same about heel hook.

                    This is coming from a Babalu fan just so you know.
