    UFC 52 1st Fight GSP vs Miller

    Round One
    The first live televised fight of the night begins with what should be an exciting matchup in the 170 pound weightclass. BJM gives his patented phrase to start the action off and both fighters touch gloves in the center of the cage. Miller misses with a leg kick. GSP comes forward and lands a stiff jab. Miller comes forward with a kick that GSP catches and then slings Miller to the ground. GSP stomps Miller in the body on the ground while standing over him. Miller stands back up and comes forward, with GSP landing another hard jab.

    Miller comes forward and misses with a right hand, but GSP counters with a hard left hand of his own. GSP lands another stiff jab after missing with a spinning backfist. Miller misses with a jab of his own. Miller throws a right hand and clinches, but GSP breaks away and lands a right hand. Miller throws a jab that GSP blocks, and GSP lands another jab. Miller lands a body kick that is partially blocked. GSP charges forward and lands another punch standing against Miller taking him down.

    GSP takes miller down and is in his guard. Miller rolls through and attempts a leg lock, but GSP escapes. As Miller stands up, GSP kicks him in the head with his right leg! Miller on his back with GSP standing over him, and GSP follows him down. GSP attempts a kimura and almost has it, but Miller shows great flexibility and escapes. Miller stands up and GSP lands a big knee from the clinch. Both fighters break from the clinch and GSP lands a spinning kick to the body.

    Miller's face is very bloody and GSP is in Miller's guard. GSP passes to sidemount as time expires and Miller is very bloody.

    The second round begins with Miller moving forward and throwing a kick that GSp blocks. Miller misses a right hand, but GSP counters with a right of his own and Miller clinches. Miller pushes GSP against the fence and momentarily picks him up off the ground, but GSP defends well and avoids the takedown. Miller switches to a single leg attempt and lifts GSP off the ground again, but GSP continues to defend well. Miller drops to his knees and then pulls guard in front of the cage.
    3:45 left in the second round with GSP in Miller's guard. GSP now passes to half guard and lands a nice elbow to Miller's face. Miller passes to sidemount, but Miller turtles up. GSP attempts a kimura, but Miller defends well and escapes. Miller turtled up in front of GSP again, and GSP lands a knee to Miller's body. Miller pulls guard again, but this time his back is against the fence.

    Two minutes left and GSP lands a big right hand from within Miller's guard. GSP passes to a full mount, Miller rolles over and GSP takes his back. Miller has a great escape and stands back, attempting another takedown but GSP defending well. GSP taken down momentarily by Miller, but GSP stands back up several seconds later. GSP now in Miller's guard again and lands a hard elbow. GSP attempts an armbar and has Miller's arm almost fully extended but Miller does not tap, and the round ends.

      Round Three
      The final round begins with Miller throwing a jab and GSP countering with a harder jab that sends Miller's head back. Miller misses with a jab and a wild high kick. GSP lowers his head and shoots in, taking Miller down with a single leg. GSP in Miller's half guard against the fence. Miller attempts to sweep GSP, but GSP defends well and forces Miller against the fence again. Miller brings his leg up attempting a submission, but GSP defends well. GSP lands two huge elbows to Miller's face.

      Miller pushes off the fence and attempts an armbar, but GSP defends once again. Three minutes left in the fight as Miller has turtled up against the fence and is attempting to take GSP down. GSP powers Miller down against the fence again. GSP lands a nice elbow. Miller attempts a single leg from his knees, but unable to get it. GSP counters and mounts Miller with 1:45 left in the fight.

      GSP swings to the side and attempts an armbar, but Miller defending. Miller escapes and sidemounts GSP. Miller lands two knees from sidemount, but GSP bridges and reverses Miller yet again. GSP in Miller's open guard with 30 seconds left in the fight. GSP nails Miller with two huge punches on the ground. GSP lands a big knee. Time expires as GSP takes Miller down to end the fight.

          Fight wasn't even close. St. Pierre dominated Miller and wiped the smile off his face.

              Took the words out of my mouth. And I disagree with the judging which was 10-8 10-9 10-9.

              I would of had it 10-8 10-8 10-8. but whatever.

                Canadians love GSP more than the British love Lee Murray, and that's tough to top....

                  Ya. normally I don't like the french, but St. Pierre is the man. Not soley because he's Canadian, but because he's ****ing good.

                    This was a complete mismatch. St. Pierre owned Miller.
