How the hell does he figure, he was gonna outwrestle Randy ?

I mean, you don't try to wrestle Randy f**kin' Couture. Vera's biggest edge was his f**kin' stand up and it showed. Instead, he kept playin' into Couture's strength.

Vera is a good wrestler himself, but, he cannot outmuscle Randy, just no!

Another thing that bugged me about Vera's performance, was he kept trying to work the Muay Thai plum, but, that allows Couture to get in close quarters. He should've kept Randy at bay, gave him angles and tried to abuse Randy's thighs with low kicks and rib kicks.

He would damage him at distance then clinch with him, pissed me off so much. I also think he should've done more when he was on top on the ground.

Yep, another thing Vera did wrong when Randy went down from the kick, was that Vera went straight at him, meaning, Vera pursued Randy by going in-between Randy legs, basically did the work for Randy enabling him to go in full-guard.

What Vera should've done, while Randy was already on the ground bowled over, he should've attacked him from an angle, so he could've atleast gotten a side-mount on him.

The fact that Vera couldn't even do **** from the top position , just shows us Randy's strength. Vera should've just allowed Randy to get back up, while Randy's ribs were still hurtin', he should've just kept attackin' the ribs from there.
