The Athletic Commissions are the only ones who can overturn the decisions. Which sucks because there is a very low chance of that happening unless Shogun and his management team go before the Commission and state their case.

Dana could easily strip Machida of the title, and give it to Shogun. He has the power to do that, but he can't overturn a fight result.

The commissions if they do decide to overturn the decision, it would probably be overturned to a No Contest before Win for Shogun.

Very rarely does a State Athletic Commission over turn a decision.
When they do, it's usually along the line of a No Contest type thing. Since there is no reason for a No Contest
or No Decision, It's not going to happen.

If for some reason a fighter fails his post fight drug test
it is possible the decision might be over turned.

I think if they actually overturn the decision that would cause the sport to lose even more credibility then it already has due to the decision in the first place. I think people should just accept that a decision was made and it shouldn't be changed.
