Rua really surprised me, I hadn't seen any of his UFC Pride days and according to 'you're only as good as your last fights' he should have lost handily. But he managed to outfox the fox. It was a great technical display and a pity that the judges didn't award the decision to him.

i apologize for severely underestimating Shogun

i wasn't sure we'd ever see him as good as he was in Pride, but thankfully he proved me wrong. its good to see he's fully recovered from his injuries, and his cardio is back.

shogun executed a perfect gameplan against man some saw as untouchable, and got screwed out of a decision. shameful display of judging

hopefully he gets the immediate rematch he deserves, but knowing the UFC, they'll probably give Couture a shot if he beats Vera
