It got mainstream news coverage, attention to 'that other MMA league'...I imagine they schedule Herschel easy and he gets a few fights and that's it

Kind of like NBA star Kendall Gill's boxing career, which lasted 3 fights when he was 37 years old

I'm not talking about helping them. Yeah, it will get some new fans but I'm talking about the dudes health. He's old as dirt, and has never stepped foot into an cage or ring. They better give him some scrubs.

I'm going to say 47 year old Herschel Walker is one of the top 5 most athletic guys in mma, and that's not knocking mma, this guy is still an amazing athlete.

Are those former NFL players 47 years old? No. I agree that at his age, a MMA career is foolish imo. But to each his own.

no they're not, but who cares. If the guy really wants to try then why not? Might not be the smartest move he's made but it's not wrong, maybe he shouldn't be in this level of competition, but let's face it. He's not gonna be fighting any Shogun's or Machida's in strikeforce so oh well.

sure did, and i still don't see anything wrong with the guy wanting to get into MMA. Maybe at this level it's not 100% correct but whatever, Dana just gotta learn to **** down and deal with his own ****. Obviously something about this scares him which is why he's bitching about it.

As long as he doesnt get horribly overmatched whats the big deal? He is a great athlete with an excellent work habit, he said letting Kimbo fight was wrong too. If Walker does good expect Dana to try and sign him.
