Demystifying Fedor: Facts and Quotes From Fedor Emelianenko

Great article. Man Fedor is just a humble fellow that even today it still blows my mind how he just switches into this monster in the ring. He's like Jet Li in Unleashed, take his belt off set him on his prey and watch the terror and destruction ensue. Awesome.

It's just a shame that the show itself (Affliction that is) will more than likely do an even smaller buyrate than it's first show reinforcing the fact that he can't draw for **** on PPV.

I like Fedor but sometimes its annoying reading any interviews with him. He never goes into any details about anything....everything is so vague. And its just year after year of vague interview with him. I haven't learned anything new off of this guy in 3+ years. We need a 24/7 on him

No MMA fighter has proven to draw on PPV. Only fighters promoted with the UFC have proven to draw high ppv numbers. Brock Lesnar K1 promoted show did 50,000 buys. Next fight was UFC promoted and did 600,000. And yet people still wonder why the UFC gets the majority of the cash and control.....

The UFC could easily promote Fedor.

I think he keeps it vague because he doesn't want to brag about it, and possibly because it really just is vague, hard work. There's been a few documentaries on his camp during the Summer up in the mountains, it looks really bare-bones and that is no exaggeration. I think he's just a hard worker with a supportive camp around him and it can be left at that.

I'd love to see Fedor in the UFC, but I can't see it happening. Fedor still would love to fight in Japan and will NEVER leave Sambo in Russia. Dana White wants to isolate his fighters and market them, which is a smart move in a businessman's eyes, but not to a true fighter.
