Also, I know he doesn't have the best record but Heath Herring was coming off of a win over Cheick Kongo AND a fight against Big Nog in which he came damn close to finishing Nog. Now I know he's not a top contender but I feel like just the competition a guy like HH has faced Brock beating him was a good win too. Also if you look at Nog's stoppage of Sylvia, Tim pretty much dominated that entire fight but got caught in a sub.
Brock Lesnar may have beaten Herring, which would have been significant if it came in a different fashion. Lesnar sat on top of him for FIFTEEN minutes and was INCAPABLE of finishing Herring, whether it be via Submission or Strikes. Again, not significant.

As for Nogueira, that's how he fights. Defensive and enduring until you either gas or make a mistake.

        plastic undeserving champion???

his ncaa wrestling record is 106-5

i'd say he knows both how to train and to control people on the ground as proved in his heath herring fight..

he's now a purple belt in jiujitsu...

and he is clearly faster and stronger than any heavyweight...

hate to break it to MMA-fans... but natural ability has A LOT to do with it

according to move bricks you have to knock someone out for it to be a good victory... sorry thats inaccurate... go tell floyd mayweather that he isnt the greatest because he doesnt knock out everyone he fights...

are you aware that these matches are judges and you are awarded points for taking down and taking control of your opponent?

** i'm not pretending that i'm not a fan of lesnar either... i am... but this is sheer HATE))

This is funny to me, how you claim Brock Lesnar is a deserving champion because of his Wrestling record, and then you make more claims on how he trains. Let me ask you, are you around him when he trains? Sorry, your argument is not valid. Furthermore, he is not faster and stronger than any Heavyweight. Say that to Choi Hong-man or Shane Carwin and watch them laugh in your face. That is assuming that you're not a true nuthugger and actually know who those two fighters are? There are countless bigger and stronger Heavyweights than Brock. Invalid argument, yet again.

Don't put words in my mouth, **** rider. When have I ever said that you have knock someone out for it to be a good victory? I am saying that he has not had a significant victory, which he HASN'T. The BIG STRONG AND UNDEFEATABLE GIGANTIC BIGGEST AND STRONGEST IN THE WORLD BROCK LESNAR (According to you) was incapable, do you understand this word? Incapable? Brock Lesnar was INCAPABLE of stopping with a SUBMISSION OR A TKO, a sub par opponent in Heath Herring, while in mount for nearly the entire 15 minutes of a fight. Then Brock goes on to win a TKO victory over an over-the-hill, 45 year old man, carrying no significant victories in nearly 5 years, wielding nothing more than mediocre strength, striking abilities and a glass jaw.

Undeserving. You need to WAKE THE FUCK UP and realize that Brock Lesnar is a freak show HYPE TRAIN designed to make PROFIT, just like Kimbo. Nothing more and nothing less.

Brock is naturally gifted with his size, thats really about it. He is a good wrestler because of his size, he hits hard (we think, not sure about how heavy his hands are yet) because of his size. He has no MMA skills, his boxing is a joke, his BBJ is laughable, he cant kick, he is quick on his feet (i ll give u that) but doesnt have particularly quick hands, and has no stamina.....I say again - His only advantage over Mir (or any decent heavy weight) is his size, not superior skills. As soon as a smart fighter learns how to deal with that massive bulk it is game over for him, he has no plan B.

He is a money maker, simple as that, why else was he given a title shot so early? I think even Brock understands what is going on, u noticed how humble he is? He doesnt wanna look like a tit to the public getting carried away in his own hype. I m not a hater, i just feel cheated as a MMA fan!

Did you SEE Herring after the fight? He looked like he was in a car crash! That was just as impressive as a knock out.
