What do you guys think about Pac/Oscar?

I'm one of the few who llikes both sports but even if your just an MMA fan you know who Oscar De La Hoya is and you know the size difference. While I didnt think the size difference was gonna matter I thot Oscar was just to talented for Manny so when I came home and saw Manny won by TKO I was pretty shocked and was wondering how the MMA community felt about this?

Pac is easily top P4P. I knew this was going to happen. I love Oscar, but again, I knew it would happen.

It was a flawless victory due to a great gameplan put together by Roach and execution by Pac.

What saddens me is this PPV will more likely turn away casuals thanks to bad production and the boxing fans are too blind to see that.

In a perfect world boxers would fight like Pacquiao. Pac deserves all the credit in the world. He came to win and fought the perfect fight and proved he is P4P#1 and reinforce the fact that he is the most exciting boxer around today.

I love the Pac Man so much, prolly enough to suck his meat and enjoy a Newport afterwards.

He's a real humble man too, well at least on the outside, and came from nothing, I give him all the credit he deserves.

I dont appreciate Dana White trying to hate on the PPV though when he just gave Brock a title shot he clearly didnt earn but aside from that I think it shows that Boxing and MMA are both exciting SPORTS, with SPORT being the main word

Only problem with the event was the undercard which seems to be the one thing boxing needs to change, especially for what they charge on a PPV. I mean both Ortiz and Lopez are a great prospect (Ortiz) and a titlist at 122lbs (Lopez) and they get given deadbeat cans to fight against, horrid. Plus the undercard that was televised lasted a total of 6 or so minutes which left all this time to build up to the main event which they couldn't even do right. Thank god Pacman didn't let us down and let rip on DLH ass.

I enjoy both sports, but i still think that a great boxing fight is better than a great mma fight. But the problem is that great mma fights happen pretty often while great boxing matches are few and far between.

Fighters like Pacquiao are what make boxing great, while fighters like Joe Calzaghe are what makes me hate the sport at times.

didn't get to see the fight (studying for finals) but heard it was a doozy (if ur a Pac fan...) with a garbage undercard. i also like both sports and i think that boxing is starting to realize that ppl expect more than the main event now. the competition between boxing and mma is damn good for fans cos they're constantly trying to one up each other so things can only get better.
