Wanted to post a little question here. Granted, some people are more inclined to grapple that stand up and fight, but in your standup game, what do you focus more readily on? Your upper body (hands, elbows) or your legs (feet, knees)?

here is the thing with that, I feel more comfertable throwing hands, BUT i have extremely strong kicks and knees where with my hands i just have a really good left hook and a good right straight 50/50.
i throw alot more punches than kicks tho, but i'm workin on that.

i normally cover all areas. you gotta position yourself comfortably to be able to manuever against your opponents moves. you get an open, throw... always keep your hands up and look center point of the upperpart of the chest or so to be able to see all limbs and giving yourself reaction time. if their hands are up and they are steady jabin or comming through with flurrys..... takedown and work ground game. its all preaty simple when you take it all into perspective at that moment. it also takes drilling. drilling is the learning process. drilling is what people lack. you will never learn steadily without doing drills. drill.
