Kimbo wasn't defending himself and the fight was stopped. it's happened numerous times in MMA.

FYI, I think he was knocked out cold while on the ground. Notice his legs drop. He just 'came to' before the stoppage. You could also see him mouth 'what happened?' to the ringside doctor.

as it does give your stance more legitimacy

and I'd agree that fighters can go momentarily limp and snap right back into it 2-3 seconds later.

but whether he was out cold or not ... and we'll leave that to be determined at a later time

I'd rather see him straight up kayoed .. in the fashion of Chuck .. oppose to stunned and grounded and pounded out.
