I was on the Haye bandwagon when he first moved up. Took him forever to get an opponent even then, but post Barrett things looked great. Klitschko was on the horizon. If not Wlad, then Vitali. But the guy is a fucking wanker who talks all day and runs all night. If he ever does face one of them, I'm rooting for his demise. He's not a good face for British boxing. I even like Amir more than him. That says something.

Wlad has enough people rallying against him for not being exciting enough that Haye still gets support. beyond that I don't know how anyone can respect him. He's fun to watch, but has no balls. He could be king in the UK for capturing the HW crown Lennox left behind but lacks the balls to try it. He doesn't deserve a mention alongside other UK greats from the past. Haye's a ****.

Yeah, aside from the style+Steward connection, Lennox and Wlad have in common that they are intelligent, respectful guys who fought the best without acting like ****s.

What do you think of Calzaghe, Clyde?

I think he deserves credit for Lacy, Kessler and Hopkins. Those were legitimately the best in the division when he fought them. He also deserves more credit for beating the likes of Reid, Woodhall, Mitchell and Sheika. Those were solid contenders and not bums like some claim. But I can't help but feel that he missed a lot of chances. Dawson, Pavlik, Hill, Adamek, and a few others were very realistic possibilities and he missed out on and has to take some responsibility for that.

Shame really because he was such a good boxer but I think his resume could've been better, even allowing for his injury problems.
