All time, I'm not sure. But in recent memory the first fight to mind is Mosley-Vargas 1. I had low expectations for that one, and damn HBO for making it PPV. But that was a damn good fight.

I agree about Steward. I do expect Cotto to win, but Steward's recent record of improving fighters isn't all that impressive. He's done well with Wlad, but J Taylor and Cintron didn't really show much improvement, at least not in a meaningful way.

I know it was longer ago, but I don't think Steward helped Hamed much either. Then again I think Hamed was probably past helping by then, but still, Steward could've put his foot down and been a bit of a ****, which is needed with egotistical boxers sometimes. Steward is perhaps too much of a nice guy in some instances.

I'd still call Mayorga prime in the Tito fight, just out of his depth at 160. Tito actually looked the the break did him good in that fight, maybe he was a little better even. But that might be due to his opponent. He picked the wrong man to fuck with in Wright after that.

I agree in recent years Steward hasn't impressed. He can help Cotto with his defense though. Cotto better learn to clinch if he's gonna last much longer. Far as Naz goes, you're right. By then Naz was just Naz. He was still knocking guys out, so Manny was probably content with that. He did try pumping him up vs Marco, but nothing was going to help him in that fight.
