Kelly's good at what he does but he isn't resourceful. If he has trouble the best he can do is try to throw more punches. He never changes anything tactically. A new trainer could help him a little bit. He's young enough to learn still.

Pavlik probably won't change since he's been with Lowe his whole life. Especially since he scored a KD, even though it wasn't a serious one. They were banking on a KO, so I'm sure he feels that he can KO him in a rematch. They won't change **** and Lowe won't come up with anything new.

yeah, it is what it is... i never really like Loew...

i first saw pavlik when he fought miranda and then when he stopped Taylor it was gold... but that was the peak... that was him at the top, opponents have figured him out since and Loew has no answer or no way of evolving him

it was legit, but it was no harm to martinez... just like the williams KD, even a little less harmful

he was never hurt, in either fight IMO

Apparently during the Hopkins fight, Loew said to Pavlik "you have to throw more punches, that's how Calzaghe beat him!"

I think Pavlik's loyalty has hurt his career. Manny Stewart seems like a perfect match for him, but to be honest I think any top trainer would be better than Loew.

TBH, as much as i hate BHOP, i think he'd be a great trainer... and i think just coming to camp with kelly would help him A LOT

I don't see him beating Sergio or Williams. Sturm, maybe. But that's not a given either. Same with Winky, who if he's got anything left at all, UD's him as well. If Pavlik moves up, he gets it from the best there also. He's stuck in a rut imo.
