Call me crazy, but I can see Hatton being at least competetive with anyone at 140 IF and, it's a big if, he takes the weight off slowly, i.e he goes into training camp in shape.

You're not crazy. I think he could still give anyone at that weight a good fight. I think he KO's Khan with a body shot in the 5th. That would be my prediction. Khan hasn't faced anyone on Ricky's level before.

That said, Ricky isn't going to fight Bradley or Alexander....he's just not. He's wants an easy payday....JMM would suit him fine (although I care not one bit for that fight). Khan on the other hand would be a good fight for Ricky to win a world title as well as dispell the myth that he's "shot", as well as make him a truck load of money more than any other feasible fight will. People seem to forget the only fighters to beat Ricky are Pacquiao and Mayweather. And Ricky's still only 31.

Ricky needs to man up though, he's doesn't want to get beat by any of the younger 140 champions and he certainly doesn't want to get humiliated in front of the entire country by Khan. That's why he wants someone like JMM, or Urango (before tonight), he'd even take a Paulie rematch if he beat Khan. He wants an easier win and a payday....despite what he says, he's not out to try and prove anyone wrong. I really like Hatton but his balls have gone.

I don't think his balls have gone, I just don't think he cares anymore. He is a millionare, remember that saying, it's hard to get up and do roadwork in the morning, when you are sleeping in silk Pyjamas.

Hatton has made his money, sadly though that performance against Pacquiao will live on long in memory, and probably define his career. that is why imo he needs to come back and bury that result under a few W's
