Yeah, some Pinoys overrate JMM because he gave Pac such a hard time. They try to make him out to be a top 5-3 Mexican fighter of all time.

Oscar on the whole gets a lot of praise for resume alone. But resume and record aren't the same. I applaud his list of comp much as anyone. But his historical standing is bloated by people who don't want to admit he choked a few too many times. I don't think it's necessarily about certain groups of fans, but overall. His star power translates to greatness in the minds of many, which is inaccurate.

Yeah, agreed. I also think his massive popularity ensured that he could fight anyone he wanted under whatever terms he wanted. No other boxer has really had that power, at least not for a long time. Most great boxers take a lot of tough fights in unfavourable circumstances, rather than having limitless opportunities.

Fighting Quartey after he'd been inactive for more than a year, fighting past-prime Sweet Pea and Chavez, fighting Mayorga and Vargas after Tito damaged them, fighting Mayweather at 154, fighting Hopkins at 156 etc.

I know you can do that kind of criticism for most resumes, but on the other hand...Tito fought at the same time as Oscar and often fought better versions of the same people.

I know he was on the wrong end of some disputed decisions, but at the end of the day Oscar's best win is probably a points win he didn't deserve over Ike Quartey. Not exactly ATG stuff.

There's simply too many titles available nowadays. It's better to have one than not to have one, but the belts cloud the issue of greatness. Oscar has a ton of straps across many divisions. Shows he fought some good guys from his green days to his maturity. But he came up short against his most meaningful foes. I think Vargas is his best win clearly. And his titles count, but losing the big ones overrides his multiple title runs in my view. And I lost a truckload of respect for him over the Pac thing. Sans the losses, PBF has the same problem, if you want to call it that. A bunch of belts inflating public perception, but not enough really big wins. People care about belts too much.

Shocking stuff

After being banned for the 19th time, I considered leaving the house, maybe trying to find a real life friend, get a job or even get laid. But I decided to stay here instead.

4. I admit that Paul Williams is overrated due to the support he gets from HBO, racially biased internet trolls and people who think that being tall makes you an ATG
5. I admit that all of the anti-Pacquiao threads I've been making have been because of jealous. I'm jealous that his resume is so much better than Floyd's, and I'm jealous about the size of his ****. Yes that's right, even some little Asian dude has a bigger **** than me.

8. I admit that Floyd is the most overrated boxer of all time, and that he cherry picks every single fight, and that he will duck Mosley by claiming a fake injury
