That was Clottey's excuse for being an inactive fighter in the second half, but it was bull****, he's never had a high work rate that would give Tony trouble in the second half of a fight.

He is mentally weak IMO. I believe that he really did hurt his hand, but some guys just lose their confidence as soon as anything doesn't go to plan.

Clottey had the potential to beat Marg and Cotto, but he let it slip away. In the 12th round against Cotto he did hardly anything, even though the fight was very close. World class fighters usually dig deep and grind it out in a situation like that, but Clottey doesn't seem to be the type to do that.

Yeah same here. I used to defend Williams, but he approached 147lber Clottey for a fight at 154lbs. When Clottey didn't accept, he approached 154lber Martinez for a fight at 160lbs.
