I don't like Froch much but I respect him for trying to make a fight out of it considering his opponent wanted none of him and tried to run all night.
I never thought I would agree with Froch but he is right, you can't just 'steal' a World Title, you need to prove yourself and win it convincingly and there was no convincing performance from Bitchell at all that night.
i thought dirrell won. dirrell was the better boxer by far.
froch says he came to fight but all that means is that his level of boxing skill is so low that he has to simply rely on putting his hands down, hoping the other guy trades instead of trying to box and hoping his chin and stamina stays up.
frochs style can be entertaining but only when the other plays by his rule and if anyone had half a brain cell they would know they could outbox him/

he needs to control himself though.
he can box and run if he wishes but he needs to show more composure when he does it.
froch wasn't landing anything and he would look like he was running for his life.
that influences the judges who are no more competent at judging fights than clowns like us on the internet.
dirrell needs to show confidence when he's on defense. he makes the guy miss but makes it look like he's getting tagged when he's not.

Marty DiBergi: David St. Hubbins... I must admit I've never heard anybody with that name.
David St. Hubbins: It's an unusual name, well, he was an unusual saint, he's not a very well known saint.
Marty DiBergi: Oh, there actually is, uh... there was a Saint Hubbins?
David St. Hubbins: That's right, yes.
Marty DiBergi: What was he the saint of?
David St. Hubbins: He was the patron saint of quality footwear.
