What about the 'Dear Boss' letter? Obviously the most famous but it did have the ear reference which later held true.

I doubt any two letters were written by the same person though.

Nah, the Dear Boss letter was the work of two journalists. The reference about "Clipping of 'er ears" appeared in a later letter and was actually mailed after the killings, so the person writing the letter could know about that aspect of the crime.

      Sutcliffe was a sleazy slag.

I wouldn't be surprised if Jimmy Saville had killed about 200 hundred women. He was the real life Norman Bates. Did you see the Louis Theroux special about him? The **** wasn't right in the head.

Aye, when Louis met the ****.

Do yer think Jimmy could have written the 'Dear Boss' letter?

In all honesty, it was probably some **** no one ever heard of, who has now been lost to history.

Out of the known suspects me top three ( and mind, this is always changing ) would be ( In no particualr order ):

                    George Chapman
                    William Henry Bury
                    Francis Tumblety
