Hagler was the toughest of the bunch. He gets my vote. Leonard was good, but one of those pretty fighters it's not as easy to root for.

It's a fact that prime Hagler beats SRL, you saw how he was beating back Leonard when he actually followed the gameplan in that fight. Shame Leonard had to be a bitch about the fight earlier on.

Leonard had nearly 3 years off moves up 8 pounds and beats the best guy.

Still think Hagler won a close fight. Harder punches, hurt Leonard more, shook off Ray's shots without missing a beat. Leonard was the sentimental pick. As underdog, he was getting the benefit of the doubt in close rds. People wanted to see him win more so than they did Marvin. The comeback story was a hit with everybody. Hagler made a mistake by not starting right away going on the attack.
