Nah bro. I went home just after the quake hit. My boss at the time wouldn't give me a bit of time off to go home to help my family out. My aunty lost her house and everything in it and I was sat here getting more and more pi55ed about not being there to help, so we came to an agreement where I called him a cvnt and went to the airport anyway!
I'm hoping to come back next year if I can find work.

Foolish moi. I think you told me this already.
There's nothing better than a good walk out of work. Getting the last word in and all that.
Don't have the guts to do it meself. But I admire yer balls.

I kinda wished I'd bit my tongue Stinger. I've been stuck for regular work since I came back. I got a part time gig helping a mate who owns a fishing charter so I ain't starving, but it's on and if and when basis so it's hard to plan/save for another trip.

Ain't that always the way? A moment's high when you call yer boss a ****, followed by months of regret at the loss of income.
Work's hard to come by everywhere at the moment. It's best to only burn bridges during periods of economic growth.
