There's so many Ak variants is impossible to pick one. I was at this store today and a guy had a wasr 10 Romanian model and said it was good.

Then when I read about it online it gets mixed reviews.

most ak variants are pretty much the same.

the difference is in quality of the finish and manufacturing.


the best ak variants are probably the ones made in finland. the sako models. they're not strictly ak's though as there are slight differences (all of which makes it a lot better than the ak)

for a strictly straight ak copy , i'd go with the east german made ak's or even the chinese ones. strangely enough the soviet ak's are probably one of the worst.

I found a cool shop today, I don't think I'll be spending over 600 bucks for one. But I'm gonna go with the ak74 instead, the ammo is cheaper and I like the 223 round better.

ak-74 is 5.45mm.

you're talking an ak-74 converted to 5.56mm?

i'd just take a normal ak-47 if i were you.

7.62x39mm is better imo.
