Not a huge fan of the lighter pop stuff I've heard, but I'm intrigued.

The Layman might think this is simple pop compared to the Stones' late '60s stuff, but this is songwriting genius:



The Brilliance of Lennon & McCartney together ( McCartney's verses, with Lennon's bridge, with both coming together for the chorus )

The melody's gorgeous, the harmonies perfect. Sprinkled with great lyrics and musicianship, and you've got the perfect 2-minute pop song.
