I work in a pub and they've just changed the food menu and I had to go in and try it. So basically I was paid money to go and eat free food, then we had a lock-in afterwards where we were given free drink that had been ordered by mistake.

Could've done without the walk home though. Stopped to throw up more than once and I think maybe I fell asleep briefly leaning on a chest-high wall at one point

That is pretty sweet, you never turn down things for free (unless it's an **** rodgering in prison). 7.30 is a hefty session, you couldn't of felt well today .

Back in the day, I added big Len to my friends on *******.

You could message him questions and he'd respond. I sent him some general bullshit question, and got a response about a week later. I remember pissing myself when I saw that 'definitely' was included in the response.

i emailed max kellerman once.

this was about 8-9 years ago when he was still on espn and he had like an email max a boxing question segment.


i asked max what he thought about pacquiao (this was after watching pacquiao in 2 straight ko wins on the delahoya ppv undercard and the tyson-lewis ppv undercard)

max responded, "that pacquiao is exciting but nothing special and he doubts pacquiao could be effective above 122. nor would he be competitive with the likes of barrera and morales."

i actually agreed with him at the time.

barrera fight i thought pac had no chance.

i was just happy he got a big fight.

i was hoping he'd put up a good fight in a loss then he can go back to 122 where he was still champ.

The Barrera fight was the first time I saw Pac. Maybe the first time I had even heard of him. Even though MAB had lost before, it was crazy seeing this super-fast punching machine dominate him like that.

Still Pac's most impressive win IMO. He has become a better fighter since then but if I wanted to show a boxing n00b a Pac fight I'd pick that one. Plus Barrera was prime, an ATG and maybe the best featherweight in how long? Decades maybe? And he was coming off of wins over Morales and Hamed who are the best 2 FWs in recent memory other than MAB and Pac.
