My speed is higher than Floyd. For the record. Sometimes it's tied but my fastest is faster than His fastest.
    Your jab is sheet.

Don't even disgrace these fighters by saying that your jab is faster.

I'd see your sheet before you even threw it.

No I am.. My father was an Elite karate fighter and we are almost identical in speed...

Roy Jones was maybe 0.2 faster than me with gloves (haven't seen his top speed shadow boxing)

Mike Tyson -.. he's probably similar to Roy with some shots so I'll say Mike is faster than me as well.

Amir Khan - not sure. Haven't seen enough. My first instinct was that I was faster. But he was much faster at power combos (I'm much bigger than him).

I am 35 now bro. Past my prime.

I think I can do a pretty impressive display for y'all in a couple of months
I was told to Shadow box with open hands for relaxation.
Form watching the 3 second clip your guard is very low! Watch where you throw punches form and you won't be counted as often. However your hand speed appears to be good.

I say forget Karate while boxing as it is good for landing 1 or 2 blows vs. people with limited skills. Boxing requires movement and balance. Put on a pair of gloves and post a 30 second video of hitting a bag. I can tell you what you are good at and what you are not.

Shadow boxing is fine of technique, but it not substitution for light sparring!

Yeah an open had will increase speed a little, but you really should not hit with an open hand.

Throwing a punch with an open fist does not increase your speed.

You might think that it does, but it does not.

And so what if it did? If you land the shot than you'll probably funk up your hand...........Rockin'

It actually does. By a very small margin. A tight fist has tension in it with takes a little away from speed. A non clinched first offers slight better hand speed.

So throw your punches with an open fist.

Just don't come in here crying, looking for tips, because you broke your hand throwing your punches with an open fist.

That is not what I am saying. In boxing the hand should be in wraps. From here if you want a little extra speed DO not make you fist extremely fist. If you want more speed, loosen the tightness when making the first. Understand me better now?

My jab was always fast, and I clinched that fist tight while it was on it's way. I never hurt my hands...............Rockin'
