Oh yeah but as of now, a good matchup would be Chavez Jr. vs Zurdo Ramirez since both are from the same state and in the same weight. But because of promotional reasons I doubt it would happen.

There are rumors of ramirez going to Germany to challenge Abraham for his belt! What are your thoughts?

I think Zurdo can take him. Abraham's the weakest champ at 168. Zurdo didn't look too great his last time out but that Armanian guy was awkward as hell. He reminded me of Vic Darchinyan. Zurdo still won almost every round and almost had him out a few times.


I think HBO and Top Rank are setting up a Ramirez vs GGG fight. Especially if Ramirez beats Abraham and becomes champ.


Chavez Jr is done IMO. He doesn't have the same hunger and fire he had when he was beating Andy Lee and Rubio.

I hope it happens soon. One thing that I noticed is that after moving up to 168 Zurdo's power seemed to diminish or maybe the opponents ability to take his shots improved because of their bigger size. I believe he did want to win a title at 160, but who knows what happened.

I agree with you abraham is the weakest champ at the moment and zurdo can take it. Lets wait and see. Regarding chavez, I think chavez can still win major fights if he has the right team like he did when he beat Lee. He might even have to drop down to 160.

Last thing Cotto wants to do is **** with Canelo. Also, I don't think Cotto's boxing is that much better than Canelo's. He is a better boxer, but I think ultimately he's going to get hit and hit hard.

Very true Cuauh, I told people, Canelo is a much better boxer than people give him credit and Cotto gets to much credit for his boxing.
