the Gamboa osf 2010 was a beast. now a days he seems like he just fights for a paycheck. doesnt look like his older self anymore

He jumped too much weight, IMO. He is only what 5'5"? He needs to stay at 130 and go from there. His speed is still there but he was just giving up too much height and Crawford once he adjusted it was ball game.

Gamboa has all the skills , attributes to make a competitive fight with anyone @130 below. The question is , how will he bounce back from this clear defeat mentally. If he made adjustments in his fight against Crawford he could of won a decision but i dont see him finishing it before 12. Gamboa showed hes slow to adjust and heavily relies on his speed boxing to win fights. He also showed tremendous heart , something that cant be taught and should be respected. Not to mention he recuperates very fast giving testimony to his conditioning. Even though he lost I still want to see his next fight, he's an exciting fighter tats not afraid to leave everything in the ring.

After he gave it all he had on that last down it was tragic. I knew he was done after seeing Crawford was too strong, and was taking the punches much better from the beginning i could see it coming.


I knew he could get Crazy and get knocked the fk out his ballz drained the blood from his brain. Hopefully he pulls a Schwarzenegger at his real weight.
