Gringo, I've been listening to Jill Scott, India.Arie, Lyfe Jennings, Jaheim, Musiq, Chrisette Michelle, Floetry lately...

...Tell me about some similar artists I might not know of..

Joe was class in the mid to late 90's. All The Things still sounds fresh.

I think of the current artists, Jaheim, NeYo and Tyrese are reminiscent of the mid 90's era.

          Jaheim's last album was tight.

            Uh, Aaron Neville?

Just kidding of course. I've actually been listening to a lot of older stuff lately. Jackie Wilson, Isley Brothers, The Flamingos, Anita Baker, Stevie...

I mentioned that last Raheem DeVaughn effort as something I liked awhile back. I like his style and voice.

"Love Drug", "Empty" & "Desire". I feel this is what Lyfe Jennings wants to be or should be. Kind of raspy voice, but more smoothed out.

Otherwise, I still like virtually everything Anthony Hamilton does. Robin Thicke's album was hot. I mentioned that I haven't liked many recent female artists, although Jill Scott has had a couple of good random tracks. Here is a female artist I have just recently started to feel. Her name is "Ledisi".

            - "Alright"

            - "Think of You"

Will look for some Anthony Hamilton.

Ledisi is on point, my favourite track off her album is Joy.

Seriously, guys, put down that Game CD or your Rick Ross album or your Lloyd Banks mixtape.

The new Ne-Yo is out, the new Robin Thicke has leaked...and they both **** on any rap release that's come out all year.

And if you make it to the end of the Robin Thicke disc, you can even hear you some Weezie... (smilie)

Joe's new album "Signature" is NICE.

                    Maxwell's new album is too.
