BENEFICENCE PREPS NEW RELEASE
5/28/06 Newark,NJ - Beneficence returns with second full length album Vocal Sport
Coming back from a 2 year break following 2004's Eye Of The Storm, Beneficence is currently putting the finishing touches on " a well thought out underground ***el...Storm was my debut to test the waters, and from the response the new L.P is my appreciation to the fans who showed love and supported."
The "VS" album cover is a conversation piece in itself which has Benef posing in the likeness of the late boxing great heavyweight champion Jack Johnson. Production is handled precisely by Rell Da Sniper, Mr Len (of Company Flow & Jean Grae fame), DJ Kaos(of Artifacts fame), Lyrical Graphiti, and P Original. Guest appearances include El Da Sensei, Lyrical Graphiti, and Clyde James.
The sometimes quiet and full of mystique New Jersey emcee leaves no stones unturned telling descriptive, gory, at times comical street tales in "Welcome to the Valley" and "L.S.T". Also giving verbal thrashings in "Fiyaah" and "Terrible Pleasure" the official single where Benef rhymes with conviction with lines like...." Official hip hop look through the frames that's tinted. You want rap without breakin and graf i'm not with it. Look here you can't split it, Lyricism without the gimmick still a vocal sport. You know me and what i taught, since rolling with my cousins at Twin City in Newark...."
Mostly recognized for a smooth laid back flow, he delivers just that with "30 Love". A follow up to 2004's New Artist Radio's #1 hit "Dina". With plenty of universal appeal, mainly due to it's street intelligence, Vocal Sport is set for summer release on Ozone Entertainment.
