They can be as old as you like. I mean what tunes are you chucking on more than most, you know when you start to really appreciate and song a consequentially play it to death. The tracks waxing out my MP3 player right now:

    Three-Six Mafia - Stay Fly
Ras Kass - Write Where I Left Off
MC Lyte - The Wonder Years
    Eric B. & Rakim - Eric B. Is President

I did see the thread, because I posted in it....??!!

What I mean by feelin' is that you know either when you hear a song for the first time, and it really grabs you, because of the beat, lyrics or both, or when you haven't listened to a particular song for a while and then you hear it and think '****, that was actually a good track', and then bump it for a while until your bored of it.

That's what I meant by this thread.

Further explanation of what happens when you hear a new song, or you discover the (ATM) on-the-surface excellence of an old one: when you listen to a song constantly, it can go one of two ways: the song will endear itself to you and you will listen to it for years to come, so it will be known as 'classic' and therefore become timeless, or you'll get bored of it due to the overplay and it will completely lose it's replay value.

Yeah, I get what you mean. Changes for me daily most of the time but right now I've been listening to these joints a lot...
Put Em In They Place- Mobb Deep (I'm sorry, the beat is contagious)
A Million And One Questions/Rhyme No More- Jay-Z (Popped in Vol.1 a couple days ago after a couple months of not listening and really started to appreciate this track)
Ridin'- Chamillionaire (Although I heard this song at least 5 months ago it still hasn't got old and it is all my friend plays in his car)
Good Ol Days- Masta Ace (great track, obviously)
Black Mercedes- DJ Quik (beat is contagious, with Nate Dogg on the hook)
