Whose really the better battler? Jin the emcee or serious Jones?!?!

I heard about the battle a while ago, but i heard it recently. According to the judges, Serius Jones won all three rounds, and i agree with that. But with all the **** Jin went through, or should i say didn't go through in the rap game makes him an easy target. Serius Jones without a doubt wrote those disses for a while ago, and although Jones was embarrassing Jin, he still replied back with FREESTYLES. Serius jones won the battle, but i think Jin is the better battler, do you?

something to be said for your analysis. jin does come straight off the dome but as a battle MC you have to be prepared for certain circumstance and obstacles. the ethnic jokes by Serious Jones through him off a lot. And serious did come straight off the dome with some of his responses.

Check your local listings for the next MTV showcase of Monday Night Fight Klub. You know what, I think the notion of Serius writing his **** is overplayed and wrong. If you listen to the battle closely, a lot of his punchlines came off the top..

like when Jin was yelling at the end of his verse.. Serius came back with

"this *****s smaller than me, how the hell he gonna yell at me, now if I really listen to what my ego tellin me, I'm a commit two or three felonies"

also "this *****s talking about freestyling, ***** the objective is getting payed"

there were a few other lines also that you can tell that most of his **** wasn't scripted. Also, Jin has some pretty generic lines, also. I don't think that he freestlyed all of his ****.

I'd have to go with Serius as being the better battler. If you listened to the battle, most of his punchlines got responses from the crowd, whereas, most of Jin's punchlines didn't get as huge of a response.

That was a sick ass battle, though. I sure as hell feel sorry for anyone that has to battle Serius Jones.

Damn, I've just started peeping a lot of Jin's battles and the kid is definetly the truth. My opinion has kind of swayed--I've got a lot more respect for him as a battler, he's sick.

I haven't heard any Serius battles except the one with Jin and too much, so I can't really judge who the better battler is.

One question, though.. was the Serius Jones battle really Jin's only recorded loss?

jones clearly won that battle but i dont like his talking style, he does'nt actually rap. i like jin alot and i think hes the overall better rapper but jones deserved to win that night.

The **** are you talking about? you do know that rapping is talking, right? Talking while rhyming. Serius can flow, peep his *******, he just slowed his style down to achieve an effect.

9/10 times Jin would lose to Serius. Serius is the better battler in my opinion.

But damn, props to Jin if that's his only recorded loss--that's a much better than Eminem's amateur battle record. I've been checking the net and the only battle I can find of Jin losing is against Serius Jones, and he put up a good fight in that battle until the last round.

in a battle i actually prefer if the rappers do it as if they were talking. It sounds better than just spitting it straight through like a verse. And yeah, that was Jin's only recorded loss
