Kanye West travels with a gay man
Jim Jones vs. Kanye West
Earlier this year, Kanye went on MTV and went into this ridonkulous spiel (completely unprovoked and out of the blue) about how hip-hop discriminates against the gays, as if that was really one of the top issues affecting hip-hop in 2005. You could hear his advisors - just off screen - gasp, worried he was about to reveal his true ***ual identity.
Well he hasn't come out of the closet just yet, but in the current issue of King ****zine, in which he's named their Man of the Year for 2005, he offers about as much evidence as anyone could possibly need that he is indeed a DL brother.
Discussing his ongoing crusade against gay-bashing in hip-hop, Kanye remarked:
"Things have been clicking ever since. I found out my cousin was gay years ago, and even just dealing with my interior decorator, having to travel with him, I've had to deal with issues. There was a point I wouldn't even get in the car with him 'cause I didn't want people to see me with a gay person. I didn't want it to hurt my career."
Question: Why exactly would a rapper travel with his interior decorator? Also, why would any man, let alone a rapper, have an interior decorator in the first place?
Could this interior decorator "friend" and traveling companion of Kanye's have been the real culprit behind Kanye's bizarre "hip-hop discriminates against gay people" outburst on MTV last summer?
