Does radio make you feel old?

Lets get this straight right now. Im 23, Im alot of things, but old aint one of them.

So im listen to radio out here and there promoting Old School sunday night and what not and dude is going on about the "Old School" artist they'll be playing saying **** We gots some Wu-Tang yeah you remember The Wu Tang Clan", im like WTF does he mean yeah you remember them. Im listenin to it and kids are calling up requesting stuff from the Chronic and what not.

Now this is all stuff from when I was in High School and Junior High and im thinking its not that long ago then I talk my brother who just turned 18 and he's tellking me how it is old school and ****.

Then I start thinking how that stuff was hot 10-13 years ago and am like damn thats a long ass time.

I dont even listen to Hip-Hop radio anymore its by far the worst offender of that disease radio DJ's get thinking thetre bigger than the music plus i think everything on radio today sucks ass. Ive turned into that old dude that bitches about how crappy today music is.

anyone else feel this way or is it just me?

I think it's common to go through this. The younger kids don't know about the older stuff. I'm 30 so I grew up listening to LLcoolJ bigger and deffer, classic beastie boys, run dmc etc. I wouldn't call wutang old school really, but I guess it depends on who you're talking to, and how old they are.
