Die Antwoord does have some pretty good songs, though. . Check out "beat boy", "enter the ninja", "zef side". . I can't get into the whole "visual art concept" that coincides with their videos, but I do admire their originality. . . They got "the flow" in 'em for sure. . . It's definitely some "next-level" schit.
Like I said, I'll take Die Antwoord (Translation from Afrikaans to English = "The Answer") over SOulja Boy, and all this commercialized garbage. . .
Also, the point of this song is to reject the Xhosa culture that makes boys (when they turn 18) to go "into the bushes" and circumcise themselves with nothing but a knife - no medicines, pain killers, training, etc. . It often results in infection leading to death. . . But if they don't do it, they will never be considered a man by their village, and end up being outcasts.Last edited by UglyPug; 03-02-2012, 12:45 PM.

They are a South African rap/rave group . . . They are out of Johannesburg, South Africa. . .
The song has NOTHING to do with religion/anti-chris/devil worshipping. . .
It's taking a shot at the Xhosa culture (a local tribe in South Africa, of which Wanga, the black dude in the video with them, was from). The Xhosa culture requires a boy, when he turns 18, to go into the bushes with nothing but a knife (no pain killers, medicines, training, etc.) to circumcise himself. If he doesn't do it, then he is rejected, considered an "outcast", and is not considered "A MAN" by the tribe. . . This coincides with their other main theme - rejecting the "conservative" culture of white south africa.
I do enjoy some of their songs; not really a big fan of "evil boy", though. . . Although I do like the message.
