I feel kind of strange looking back at my list and seeing Buckshot Shorty isn't in my list..

ya know, i preferred tek, steele, ruck, and rock to buckshot shorty, but I was like the only one I knew, ebveryone else considers buckshot the best of the bcc. skyzoo is the newest mc from bss I like. i had helter skelter memorized within a month.

i listen to the sean price station or a smif and wessun station every single day I run on pandora right now, so we're talking about 5 days a week.

of my honorable mention list I left off rass kass by the way.

Ras Kass is a beast, Soul On Ice was unreal. Felt he kind of fell off down the line but Soul On Ice is one of my personal favourites.

How else do you do it? I don't really think you can objectify greatness in arts which contain so much room for opinion. At the end of the day it's either defined from opinions. I guess you could go by the general opinion and look at that was more worthy than your opinion but that doesn't make much sense.

2Pac is my personal favourite. But I would never say he was greater than Rakim. I feel that Rakim is clearly the better of the two rappers beside preferring to listen to 2Pac.

I still have Bacdafucup on tape. The sheer rawness of it was truley unbelievable.

Remember that song that Jeru did with Chubb Rock and O.C for that Mekhi Phifer film? Man, I listened to that song literally over a million times.

Now don't that seem odd to you? Obviously if Pac is your personal favorite you believe he is the greatest or he wouldn't be your favorite to listen to. Now you thinking that Rakim is better even though you would rather listen to Pac than Rakim is an admission on your part that you view "standard" opinion or opinion by people that like to claim some type of superiority as rap listeners as more valuable than yours. That's sad.

You ever ask yourself why you think Rakim is better than Pac? Afterall ,Pac is who you'd rather listen to, so as a rapper he is more desirable to you, which is really what makes one rapper or musician better than the other. You obviously hold Pac's traits to be greater than Rakim's but still view Rakim as somehow the greater rapper. Makes no sense to me unless you view other opinions as greater than yours.
