I want to say "The Adventures of Bobby Ray" is a 5-mic album
And for those of you that have followed my posts on this site, that would make it the first since "The Marshall Mathers LP" and "The Blueprint" in 1999.

Even more mainstream appeal with the crossover collabo. "Generation Lost"-the video put out a while before his album was hella slept on. Anyways dude has a good flow, can sing, and has diverse content.
Originally posted by D.I.E.S.E.L View PostListened to the whole album, I liked Airplanes & Past My Shades, but everything else was subpar IMO. I tried to listen thru the album a 2nd time but still I'm not feeling his style. That's not to say he's garbage but this was his debut right? So he should get better.

Can you really put this album in the same category as Illmatic, Blueprint, Ready to Die, Me Against The World, OB4CL, etc?

At any rate, it's the first rap album I'm not worried about the 'fast forward' button on, at least since Q-Tip's The Renaissance.
