Neither round was a complete wipeout. Iron Solomon clearly won the first, and even though Solomon injected supreme mathematics into his verse, he lost round 2.
Round 3 was pretty close, for the sake of giving it to somebody ima give the edge to the boy Solomon.
Iron Soloman is probably the nastiest battle mc I have ever heard. He reminds me of the **** we used to do back in text. On sites like rapbattles and urbanflows. Were there was an incredible abundance of punchlines and wordplay because there was no beat to have to flow over.
But, I give this battle to Math. Here's how I see it: Both had witty, smart lines. But Iron's disses were more centered around worplay and technical punches. Math had smart, witty lines also, and also had good worplay, but the difference in the battle was that Math attacked Soloman's character more and had more humor in his verses. Straight up, he clowned Soloman. I can't think of many personal attacks that Soloman had on Math. He had a couple like the chris brown line and some others, but Math clowned Iron's whole steez with the Home depot bit. That **** was classic.
"I tried to hang with Iron, but it aint work out, I had him in the streets, he keep lettin' the nerd out, I said, 'Iron, I need bricks, you know people?' He said, 'it's funny that you ask, I'm about to go to Home Depot' I said, 'Iron, I'm puffin a cig, you want to bus down? He said, 'Nah, I'll take the train, Math, I'm going uptown' I said, 'Iron, I got that butta, what's crackin?' He said, I'm more of a parkay guy it's less fattening;"
"Little Matthew, little Matthew, you sweeter than licorice, the only thing hood about him is the skin on his clitoris."
"You got garbage punch lines and plastic similes, I recycled your rhymes to trash you literally/"
"Back in high school I smashed his chickadee, to cut, she cut science class to visit me/ We had the Cheimstry, attracted Physically, taught her ***. Ed. and Wood Shop now Math is history/"
"Sugar Shane vs. Sweet & Low we're not Equal/"
Scoring round by round, Solomon took the first with these lines. Math made it close with a few solid punch lines in the middle, but his beginning and ending weren't enough to get him the round.
I gave Math the second round because of what you posted.
After listenin to the 3rd verses I gotta reconsider who I thought won, but it was a close battle.
I said Solomon when I saw it back in the day and I saw Solomon now. That one math and reference to all those school subjects shat all over anything Math came with.
