Nas on the verses and Damien on choruses, both collaborating conceptually?

I'm expecting a great album and I can't see myself getting disappointed unless the beats are horrible.

yea me too, i like that reggae sound but its not overbearing with a some hip hop mixed in. They seem like they are good together

I'm feeling the slow reggae sound. I find Nas is best on guitar and piano samples like in the It Was Written/Firm days. Don't know why he hasn't tried to get back to that (not the subject matter just the guitar samples).

I'm surprised they haven't linked up before for a song at least, but these collabo albums rarely ever come to fruition. Hopefully this one gets a chance to come out and gets a push.

song sounds really good...I felt like on untitled, Nas' energy was missing on alotta the songs and i hope he comes more correct this time around. Its one thing to have the great lyrics that he has, but hes gotta start puttin more energy into his flow....or at least do this consistently. This is a problem i have noticed with alotta rappers....raekwon, dispite droppin ob4cl2 which i think is a classic, clearly didnt have the same energy that he had on the first. The only 2 old rappers that still seem to have the same energy they had when they were young are Jay-Z and Ghostface killah.
