It became popular to **** on Ja after 50 got at him, but Venni Vetti Vecci being a classic can't be taken away. Got this back when it came out, Ja adjusted his flow in almost every track. Classic.

I never listened to Ja to be honest. Back in 99 and around that time it was Nas, Redman, EPMD, DMX, a little bit of Jay, early Em etc. I just never got around to checking out Ja. Now I've heard plenty of his singles etc. But I've never really took the time to get into his music.
Some artists I just never get around to. And I'm sure there are a lot of people like this.

Anyway, if you like those artists you mentioned up top, you'll like this album. Ja Rule shows his versatility on this joint.

if you want to hear classics, I suggest you look back a little further. Ja Rule should not even be considered hip hop. That's some teen pop **** right there. And no, the other poster that mentioned epmd, redman, etc. probably will not like Ja if that is what he's into. Those guys guys have real lyrical content and great production as well. They have timeless records. No one likes Ja anymore, because that is what happens with that fake pop crap after a while.
