I'm ready to say it. American Gangster to me, is a classic

I listen to this album again this morning and came to the conclusion this album is very underrated. I always thought it was, but I also thought it was more of a 4.5/5 album. Now I'm stamping it with the classic seal...

its just an incredible album with the 70's soul samples, jays slick clever talk and flow.

WOW@ No Hook. Its weird because I've heard this album for years but its catching my ear different today. I always thought it was a great album but this **** is a classic to me now. Jay needs to make American Gangster Pt. 2 lol

That's how I feel on X and most Nas albums.. They're classics to me but not universal recognized classics, and that's what counts I Guess. But truth.. If it's a classic shouldn't it be a 5/5 to you and not a 4,5/5? Classic is a perfect album with no average fill in tracks.
