what kind of excuse is that?
he wasn't trying to be lyrical?
so what was he trying to do then?
it was just radio single. the beat, rihanna hook and kanye carried it. jay wasnt going in. how do i know? cuz i heard the new album and he raps a million times better than those 2 verses on it. not every verse has to be super lyrical, ecspecially in a radio single.
do me a big favor, when you get a chance, actually listen to the blueprint 3(the whole album). and then message me on what you thought in my vistor profile. do this at your leisure. you'll see what i mean, he doesnt rap like he did on "run this town" on any of the other songs.
and also, check out american gangster(2007) if you get a chance. he really raps on that album aswell.
