My favorite new'ish artists who have gotten more rec in the past 2-3 (4) years are Blu, Shad K, Black Milk, FlyLo, Jay Elec, Wiz Khalifa, Shawn Jack, Young RJ, Drake....I enjoyed the last J. Cole effort I heard too.
