Rap can't co back in time, but it needs more lyrical songs

Sorry To offend some of you, But this auto-tune, digital age **** is trash. I'm from the birth place of rap where Emcee's (M.C's) were revered for thier lyrical delivery. MOST Modern day "Rappers" are beind "held down" by melodies, the track, catchy hooks and that gay *** auto-tune ****. The real lyricist get no love from the "modern day "Rap" fan. I can't even call them true fans, cuz todays **** is definitely not an evolution of that old classic ****. It is the beginning to an end.
Big up to Jay-Z. I hope he comes through with that D.O.A ****. Death of the Auto-Tunes cuz that **** is LAME. And every "Rapper" who drops this Summer with an Auto-Tune "track" should be banned as an "Artist", if thats what you care to call them.

You say it as if every rapper out there is on that auto-tune tip. There's plenty of good hip hop out there.

there are plenty of lyrical artists out there releasing copious amounts of high quality material, they are just not as easy to find as they once were. if you are willing to take the time and extra effort to do reserch and dig, you will find yourself pleased. do not confuse the mainstream with real hip hop. if you look on the surface, you will find auto-tuned material of very little substance and depth, but do not categorize that as hip hop. look into artists like Blu, Buff1, Mr.Lif, Brother Ali, etc.
