    [HOLY S**T!] I'm convinced, The Dynasty is Jay's 3rd best album

    Right behind Blueprint and Reasonable Doubt. I actually enjoy it more than RD because of the production.

    This album may be Jay in his prime. His flow was his best and his content was strong. This is Jay in true hustler mode. Many may disregard it because so many features. But Beans made this album that much better.

    Favorite tracks: 1-900 Hustler, Streets is Talking, Intro, This Can't Be Life, Squeeze First.

    The whole album really though is top notch ****.

    Jay was incredible from 1995-2003.

    I personally think however, that the Black Album is better than The Dynasty.

    I've always been one to say the Black Album is a classic. And there was a poll done on Sohh where the people voted the black album as a classic. Not by much, but still....it goes to show alot of other people loved that album too.


    The Dynasty is nice tho. Jay has one of the best discographys of all time.

      The Dynasty is one of my favorites... I see a lot not counting that because Bleek, Beans and Amil are on it so much. But I enjoy it more than the Black Album, but not as much as RD. Good thread though... it's definately worth a mention.

      Speaking of truely good albums... I really enjoy "The Truth", I think that's a pretty solid album by Beans...

        The Blueprint 2 was also damn good album. No it wasn't as good as the first one, but Jay came correct on that too.

          It had it's moments. Overall though I wasn't feeling BP2 though.

                I know, I had it not long after it came out, ending up giving it to an ex-girl. Still,everyone continued to hype it up, so I went and picked it up again, and ended up giving it away again. I just don't dig it that much, not to say it's bad though.
